Mission Statement AnalogicTech’s mission is to provide Total Power Management solutions for the mobile and consumer electronics market, through an ongoing commitment to engineering innovation and by developing advanced power management semiconductors, ensuring that our products play a key role in the continuing evolution of feature-rich and convergent devices.
Corporate Quality Policy We, the employees and management of AnalogicTech, are dedicated to customer satisfaction through our commitment to Total Quality Management and continuous improvement in our supply chain, products, and customer service.
Lead-Free Compliance Overview AnalogicTech is in full compliance with RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) standards. The company defines lead-free (Pb-free) as compliant with RoHS standards, including a lead concentration that does not exceed 0.1% of product weight in homogeneous material and, if designed to be soldered, suitable for use in Pb-free soldering processes. All AnalogicTech production transitioned to Pb-free for date codes after December 31, 2003.
On January 27, 2003, the European Union passed the RoHS Directive, which becomes effective July 1, 2006. AnalogicTech’s entire product line is compatible with RoHS standards. All of the company’s products meet RoHS thresholds for cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs), and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs). Please refer to Table 1 (below) for a list of RoHS Restricted Compounds and the acceptable thresholds specified by the European Commission. Also for reference, Table 2 provides a list of the plating material used for each package offered by AnalogicTech.

Tin Whisker Qualification AnalogicTech has conducted extensive qualification tests of its Pb-free packages, including tin whisker tests with the following conditions:
- 55°C +5°C, 93% RH +2 / -3% RH, 1300 hrs
- 85°C, 85% RH, 1000 hrs
- -55°C ~ +150°C temperature cycle, 1000 cycles
The results of these tests showed the packages to be reliable and had whisker growth less than the industry acceptable size of 50 microns.
Part Number Ordering AnalogicTech part numbers are unchanged from Pb to Pb-free devices. All date codes from January 1, 2004 (Code 4A), onward are Pb-free for all AnalogicTech production devices.
Soldering Profile The peak solder reflow temperature for Pb-free is 260°C, which is backward compatible with JEDEC standard 240°C peak temperature for Pb devices.
Moisture Sensitivity Level (MSL) MSL levels are unchanged from Pb to Pb-free devices.
Green Conversion AnalogicTech defines “Green” to be fully RoHS compliant, as well as free of Halogen and Antimony (Sb), used as flame retardants in package molding compounds. AnalogicTech currently has a development plan in place to phase out currently-used molding compounds. Red Phosphorus is not currently used, nor will it be used in any such future molding compound.
